Why use Volvo breather filters?
• Volvo breather filters can significantly reduce the danger of contaminants entering the oil system.
• Breather filters clean the air used to ventilate lubricant tanks, sumps and axles. One of the main causes of contamination entering the oil system is via the breather filters – and this in turn is a major cause of component wear.
• Volvo breather filters improve the air quality entering the oil system, thus significantly reducing the damage contaminants cause. In the event of a machine rolling over, Volvo breather filters have protection valves to
prevent oil from escaping.
